I have had several requests for a trip to the Hill Country so Saturday March 23 we are heading to the three sisters. Meet at the Buc-ee's in Katy 0630 KSU 0700 we will take a more or less direct route to the sisters, stopping along the way for breaks and lunch at the Bent Rim. Continuing with the ride we will end up at the Super 8 in Kerrville between 4:30 and 5:00, where I have booked a room Saturday night departing Sunday. Sunday we will take a ride through Fredericksburg and the Willow City Loop (absolutely one of the best bluebonnet locations I have seen—if they are out), Luckenbach and back roads to Canyon Lake and the River Road into Gruene and the Gristmill for lunch then down US 90A back home. The route ends at US90A in Eagle Lake around 3:00 PM. From there you can determine your best way home.
